WATER*WELL*THEATRE*PROJECT #2 LILAC CO SPRING 2024

We were able to spend over a month on the ground in Burkina Faso in Ouahigouya Ville and in the capital city of Ouagadougou in April and May 2024, in collaboration with Shrine NYC working with kids and building towards the creation of a new theatre work created by kids in Ouahigouya, that we hope to bring to NYC in the future. Thank you Shrine NYC, Abdel Kader, Idris Diarra, and to the folks on the ground in Burkina Bouba Ouedraogo, Sidiki Ouedraogo, Aziza Ouedraogo, Oumarou Tapsoba, Yahaya Ouedraogo, Cobra Ouedraogo, Yassia Ouedraogo, and countless others, that without their guidance and help this project and work is not possible. **** The brand new Water Well that this project made possible, seen in the first video on this page (footage from November 2024) is serving the community in Ouahigouya this very moment.
